Team Atomica Cycling and Triathlon Training Camp 2019

Join Ultraman World Champion Tara Norton and coach Celeste Merey and Ayesha Rollinson of Team Atomica in South Carolina April 28th – May 4th (6 nights) in Table Rock, near Greenville for a cycling and triathlon training camp!

This camp is fully supported with breakfast and home cooked meals provided.Bike mechanics will be done on site by the Team Atomica support staff.

Team Atomica wants you to focus on your training, not grocery shopping, dishes and fiddling with equipment. This camp will kick off your outdoor training early and gain a boost in fitness for your upcoming 2019 season.

Ride routes as well as optional swim and run workouts will be organized by coaches who know the area and are passionate about you getting as fit as possible. There is an option for both hilly and flat riding routes of varying distances. All levels of athletes are welcome. The coaches will push each and every athlete regardless of ability.

Tara and Celeste will guide your brain and body to new reach new levels of fitness, they will provide technical feedback, and you’ll end the day with a meal at home.

Accommodation (individual beds) and breakfast and dinner for 6 days are included. Also included in the camp are evening information sessions on topics such as nutrition, mental training, injury prevention and recovery, and bike technique.

Most of us will be driving down so we will help to organize car-pooling closer to camp time. The nearest airport is Greenville-Spartanburg which is 36 miles away, and Charlotte Douglas airport is 122 miles away.  Travel expenses are not included (car or flight), but flights are approximately $500-600.

Travel (car or flight) and airport pick up are not included.

Tentative Schedule (days may be switched up due to weather):

(There is an option for all levels of athletes to ride 1-5+ hours daily on all types of terrain.)

Sunday, April 28th:
PM Optional shake out ride (1+ hours) or run upon arrival.
Meet and greet dinner.

Monday, April 29th:
AM Hilly Ride (2-3 hours)
PM Optional run and stretch session

Tuesday, April 30th:
AM Optional swim
AM Hilly ride (3-4+ hours)
PM Optional stretch session

Wednesday, May 1st:
AM Long bike flat and hilly options (3-5+ hours)
PM Optional run and stretch session

Thursday, May 2nd: (Easy day option)
AM Optional swim
PM Optional run or ride or day off the bike
PM Optional stretch session

Friday, May 3rd:
AM Last bike, hilly and/or flat (2-5+ hours)
PM Optional run and stretch session

Waiver and Membership Form:
Please note we require all athletes to fill out a waiver and membership application once per season. If you are participating for the first time or have not completed the documents recently, then please fill out the documents and send them back to Team Atomica admin. All waiver and membership forms MUST be received by Team Atomica admin before the camp. If we do not receive your forms before the training camp, you will not be allowed to participate.
