2025 WORKOUTS
Toronto’s most popular and professionally coached MORNING OPEN WATER SWIMS at Cherry Beach. With over 15 years of experience building swimmers’ open water fitness, competence and confidence, our coaches can provide you with real time instruction and feedback while you learn open water technique, racing strategies and build your intensity tolerance.

These double-action workouts are especially perfect for anyone preparing for hilly races, looking for weekly bike intervals OR a higher intensity brick workout! You will learn climbing technique, train to be brave on descents, and push yourself to new levels. Training varies from week to week and will include sessions focused on hill climbing, interval training and overall cycling fitness. Coach Darian welcomes all abilities and designs the sessions to work with riders of all skill levels to develop bike handling, group riding and any other area needed skills observed. You will be surprised at how much you can learn and how fit you can become with a weekly hard bike ride in the hands of an experienced coach! No Ear Buds.
- BRICK RUN Option: Stick around after the High Park Bike workout for a quick run boost. You will get coach-provided tips and instruction on how to improve your transition times, including how to set up a transition and ‘free speed’ opportunities. The run portion will be a rotating mix of hills for strength and power, flats to work on leg speed and the coach will stay with your bike as you run!

LOCATION: High Park
Meet at the north entrance to High Park. On Colborne Lodge Drive just south of the intersection of Bloor street and High Park Avenue
Minimum requirement: be able to ride your bike for 1 hour.
Minimum gear requirements: have and wear a properly functioning and fitted helmet, proper lights for your bike (depending on time of year) and a bike that is mechanically sound and safe to ride. Riders who arrive without these items will be turned away.
Suggested gear: front headlight, regardless of time of day; a spare inner tube, pump and tire levers, cell phone
Suggested skills: ability to change a tire
Outdoor Cycling Safety and Preparedness Information
NOT your run of the mill club run! These run workouts, like Team Atomica’s wildly popular Masters swims, are focused on economy of motion, have feedback on form, and are guided by proper training principles. Get ready to improve your run economy and super charge your run speed. Team Atomica’s coaches start with drills and activation; and then progress to interval work, using the variety of local terrain.
Count on a 15 min warmup, 25-40 min of intervals and post-set, and a 5 min warm down.

CURRENT MEET SPOT: South West side of Queen’s Park and King’s College circle
GOOD TO KNOW: There are washrooms available at Hart House (which can be used as a cooling space, before or after workouts, in warm weather OR as a refuge in the case of inclement weather)

GOOD TO KNOW: both the Regent Park Community Centre and Pam McConnell Aquatic Centre have showers and lockers available free of charge. Both centres can be used as a cooling space, before or after workouts, in warm weather OR as a refuge in the case of inclement weather!
If you want to seriously improve your confidence, boost your peak power and laugh with friends all while enjoying one of Toronto’s most beautiful and historic parks…then this weekly no-drop ride in and around Sunnybrook Park is for you. World Championship medalist and Kona qualifier Coach Irina welcomes all level of cyclists and will adjust the number of repeats to accommodate everyone from newbies to the most experienced riders.

POWER-UP and CONNECT with other community members and Coach Irina, in real time. These workouts will get you MOTIVATED, answer your questions on nutrition, pedal mechanics, training, and racing, all while you ride in the safety and convenience of your own home. These WELCOMING, community rides, hosted on Google Meet and Training Peaks Virtual will INSPIRE and EDUCATE you. Registration required to get Google Meet link and TP virtual code.

- Annual Membership holders who are also the parent or guardian of a current Dynamos swimmer are able to swim in a shared/uncoached lane at select Dynamos practices.
