Kyla Rollinson’s most recent job as Triathlon Coach of the Hong Kong National Team led the HK mixed relay team to a bronze medal at the 2018 Asia Games.  She is a level 3 NCCP Triathlon Coach and has gone through Performance Coaching training with Athletics Canada.  Her degree in Kinesiolgy from York University informs her extensive experience: 3 years riding with UCI Specialized Juviderm Mazda cycling team, 5 years racing triathlon on the ITU circuit, York University Swim Team.

She has over 10 years of coaching and has helped produced Provincial & National Champions as well as Olympic qualifiers.   Her High-Performance focus has led her to be the Junior/ U23 coach and assistant coach at World Championships at Auckland, London, and Edmonton Grand Finals. Accolades include being named  Triathlon Canada’s Elite Coach of the year in 2013 as well as  Junior and Elite Coach of the year in 2013 for Triathlon Quebec.

The need to be a front pack swimmer in Junior and Elite triathlon racing ensures that her training philosophy and program development rests squarely on fast, strong and effective swimming.
