Just sign up for the Wednesday clinic and jump in and attend any or all of the future sessions. We will review tips and skills at each session.
Are you interested in learning more cycling skills? Would you like a safe, respectful, fun and encouraging environment to ask questions and gain confidence in cycling?
Explore the fun and rewarding side of cycling with Coach Celeste Merey, Triathlon Ontario Coach with Team Atomica who will be running Women’s Cycling Clinics in Scarborough to share her appreciation and love of the sport with other women.
All women interested in cycling are welcome to attend. Each session will begin with a short lesson, demo and practice. We will then go on a ride together. Longer ride options will be made available.
You will learn to:
- Pedal efficiently, use your gears, brakes and balance to stop
- Ride safely with others or in traffic
- Improve your fitness on the bike or get ready for a charity ride, triathlon or another cycling event
- Ask any cycling related questions
Cycling Clinic Date and Time: Wednesday 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM ongoing
(missed classes can be made up)
Location: Port Union Village Common Park – Near Port Union Rd and Bridgend St.Scarborough Ontario
Parking available at the park or the Rouge Hill Go station.
Attendees are responsible to bring or wear:
- Bicycle in good working order with a bell (all bikes welcome)
- Bike helmet
- Cycling or athletic clothing
Cost for the clinic $35 + HST includes a water bottle – riders can also join Hill Rides, Weekend Rides, Baldwin Step Running or Brickworks Trail Running workout sessions in the membership fee. This does not include Trail Run 6-Week Blocks.
